About Patterns

Patterns are a great way to add some texture and personality to your design. 

They're typically used in the background of a section, so it's important to understand layering before using patterns as this feature will allow you to move your pattern back behind other objects. Patterns function a lot like shapes do, but they can only be inserted into your design in rectangle/square form.
